A runner, a dealer, and a businessman. Three flight responses to three different fights.
The film splits down the middle of the oldest reflex there is, fight or flight, and follows each of them into a different answer. The title does double duty: it's the body's panic, and it's the thing they're each doing, in their own register, all the way through.
It's an anthology by design: three distinct stories on one theme that never intersect. Same reflex, three lives, no shared scenes and no braided timelines. The structure is the argument. You don't get told which response is the right one. You get three, and the room to disagree.
