I write stories that stick.
reads like “suck” if you squint! Funny what letters and typography can do. But my work does the opposite. (*coughs*) It doesn’t— um…suck.
Film, theater, animation, video games. The medium changes, the question underneath doesn't: what makes this piece unique? What makes it memorable? Once that's answered, the next one lands. What is this story actually meant to do to you?
None of it works alone. BioShock's story ran on the philosophy of Objectivism and the RPG bones of System Shock 2, but it was the location, the characters, the telling that carried it, and most of all, Rapture. That's the pattern: a good schtick gets you to the gold, but what makes it stick is the storytelling around it. A world that breathes, characters that clash and compel, sincerity. My goal is to make storytelling an experience again.
